Some other times, the author registered to study a lesson about entrepreneurship. One of the topic of the lesson is about an orientation to act. In one of the presentation slide shown by the teacher, there’s a thing that made the author so inspired. It was about Stephen Covey’s theory which discussed about the habits that a highly-effective people do.
Then the author starts to think to spread this theory, which is pretty good to do. Not only in economical field, but also can be applied into another aspects.
So, it’s better if we go directly… happy reading!
Proactive here means acting with own’s initiative, without having to be told or pushed. Imagine it like a mouse and a dwarf.
A mouse will get to a piece of cheese without having to wait for anything, and it will keep looking for cheeses in another place. It will not jut sitting duck in a place.
A dwarf is different. When they find a piece of cheese, they will only eat the cheese, without a care in the world. They will keep being there until they eat the cheese out, and do nothing.
When applied in everyday life it’s like when we bravely take something challenging or even out of the box than just to stay in our comfort zone.
Think about correct goal after having bad things happening
To be an effective person, someone has to have a certain goal. For that, someone has to decide their goal. Whether it was a long-term goal or a short one.
Don’t forget, after achieving the shorter term goal, prepare a new goal which is far more challenging than before
Put Forward The Primary or The Most Important
The most important doesn’t mean urgent. Something important here means something that needs a big attention. For example, when we shop, prioritize what we really need than what we want. That’s far more effective, isn’t it?
Think to Benefit Others
Don’t ever think to act just for your own business and forget the others. Or vice versa, just to think about others but you forget yourself.
Think, that if we and others have a same level of benefit, that will be better and we can build better our relationship with others because there won’t be any envy or its kind which is usually because the one-sided benefit.
Understand to Be Understood
This is the same with respect to be respected.
We have to ready ourselves to learn hearing and thinking about the opinion of others, and learn to place ourselves on others. This is to make other people willing to listen to us.
Always try to bear more fruit than what’s expected
Someone Has to Make Something More Than What It’s Supposed to Be.
Like how one plus one equals two, but for an effective people the result must be more than two.
Befriend people with has a same orientation for an evident result. This can motivate you better to achieve your puprose effectively.
Find Your Uniqueness Find Your Interest
Find what you’re interested in, and if you can do it well, then keep doing it. But don’t forget to challenge yourself for new things too, okay?…
So, good luck on becoming a highly effective people, friends!
